Feeling Chic in Chicwish
One of my favorite style icons and role models, Audrey Hepburn once said, “the true beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives and the passion that she shows.” Audrey Hepburn’s class, ability to connect with others on a deeper level, and her eye for fashion are all attributes I strive for. Fashion has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember, and finding new and fresh ways to style myself and my friends is one of my favorite hobbies. Style is something unique to all of us, and yet it brings us together in a way that can create meaningful connections with others. When I find the perfect outfit, I feel more confident in my own skin and I hope to inspire other women to feel the same.If you follow my Instagram, you know I'm obsessed with styling myself. I love experimenting with mixing patterns and styles and hunting down the best pieces.I've been looking at Chicwish for a while now, browsing their site and mentally "liking" a bunch of things. I would put them in my cart at 1:30am when I'm wide awake with insomnia and online shopping, and then immediately take them out a few minutes later when I realized I should be more responsible (I guess buying gas is more important). So, when Chicwish reached out to me about a collaboration, I was so excited. They're a company I've followed for a while and I absolutely love the feminine, classic, and romantic pieces they have. And all of them are decently priced! Here are some of my current favorite pieces. Check out how I styled them and follow the links to the items! If you have questions or want to know where I got any of the other pieces, you're always welcome to DM me on Instagram and ask for help!
This pink blazer is absolutely adorable. I'm a big fan of tweed for the fall (it's still 90 degrees in Southern California, but I am going to MAKE IT WORK), and this pink one is light enough to not overheat me in this California autumn. I've been really into hats lately, so I've been experimenting with hats with almost every outfit. I styled this pink blazer with a grey beret which adds just the right amount of chic to the look.I posted about this top in my Instagram stories as soon as I got it and immediately got messages about where it was from. I loved it when I saw it online, and I love it even more in person. It's like a dream to wear. Here I styled the feminine airy blouse with a more structured skirt and some boots. The contrast between the materials, patterns, and just general vibe makes me happy. Of course, I added a baker boy's hat (told you I was obsessed!)I have to admit, this navy skirt isn't exactly what I imagined it would be (I had to have it taken in because even in the smallest size, it was too big for me), but I actually still really like it. It's a little bit formal, so I wanted to dress it down and give it a soft romantic feel. To do that, I paired it with a light blue ruffled sweater, some strappy heels, and my glasses. I like the way the slouchiness of the sweater makes the skirt more wearable in a day to day setting.
I hope you liked some of these pieces! Check out Chicwish for more cute looks for a great deal. If you like my style, chances are you're going to like their clothes.
